My non-dominant left thumb day 3: the scratches from yesterday are still there and still nearly invisible but apparently, I have a new chip-scratch in a really weird spot. It's making me nuts. I havent experienced any bubbling but I can see why you wouldnt want to use it on clients if that was happening. We beat the crap out of our right hands - we use them badly for 8 solid hours and if a polish lasts though a single 8 hour shift, yeah that just doesn't happen. I tried the o.p.i. A concept similar to CND VINYLUX, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy, it claims to deliver gel-like shine and 10-day wear with the ease of removal you get from regular nail polish. I've tried other 'long lasting' top & bottom claims, but this one is the real deal! I change out my polish too often to be interested in these types of polishes. It doesnt require light to dry but, exposure aids in longevity. Amanda is workin' today so she hasn't yet had time to send me her images for day 2. Had this professionally put on at a salon and it lasted over 7 days with no chipping. My dominant right day 3: that's definitely more wear at the tips. I have better results with the Vinylux line. makeupalley opi Still shiny though! Amanda tells me there is a small split in her middle finger nail that was already there and that's what accounts for that nice big chip. opi 10/10. Within 24 hours after painting my toes the ENITRE nail polish lifted more than half way off 2 NAILS. 
Though, differentiating itself from the others, OPI Infinite Shine is a 3-Step system. The Primer sets this gel-like product apart from the others that eliminate the base coat. Then FingerPaints. The formula will prevent color from smudging while drying to a smooth, high gloss, protected shine. It looks worse than it is though, and Ill wear it again tonight for a full 8 hours and shoot again tomorrow morning. Then along came Finger Paints and Gelaze (prob my #1 faves so far). Then you wear it. LOVE the selection. I havent worn IS long enough to know if it is drying. Pass. The top coat protected my nail color for just short of a full week without having to reapply. Kinda neat, huh? Its most like Dior Gris Montaigne, just a bitlighter.

Barely visible if youre looking at it with your eyeballs but with a photo, it shows remarkably well. Base, two coats of rather thick gloopy consistency colour coat, and one generous coat of top coat. Its not dryness. In our world (believe it or not) this is pretty close to lasting through an 8 hour shift. The patented OPI bottles get a makeover in the Infinite Shine line, with a chrome cap. The lighting in bars is notoriously not good so again, excuse the crummy photos.

OPI top coat is top of the line for nails needing a solid finish. I love getting my nails done professionally, but it doesn't always make sense to do so given how much time I spend at home. Harumph. I have a couple of colors in that one, and more colors from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line because I always seem to have a coupon for it. Trying to get out of my blue/purple/violet/blue-violet/purply-blue/bluish-purple box I always find myself stuck in. Like, what? I apparently also missed a spot on the free-edge of my thumb.
Lasts a week on our clients (on hands) so the 10 day is a huge stretch.
Water = evil. However, when I got out of the shower on Day 8, the cracks and chips were so bad, I had to quickly take it off before rushing out of the house. I certainly couldnt have worn it 10 Days, as the product claims. Theres my left again you can see the wear at the tips.

Yes, polish. COLORS Salon Fabulous Nail Treatment Gel Shine, L.A. And after all that work, it only lasted me for 4 days before the first chip. My first attempt did not go as well as I would like. This is best for someone who doesnt get great wear out of traditional polish but is leery of wearingUV gel polish. Hope it works! This is NOT a gel polish. I noticed the polish wasnt very glossy, even when the polish was fairly fresh.

My dominant right thumb day 3: there's wear and possibly a couple puny chips at the free edge there - it's almost invisible to the eyeball but it shows up very well in a photo. Interesting how the wear doesn't seem to have progressed between yesterday and today - even after a full night of work. You can see the uneven line around the cuticle of my middle finger like I said, the polish was thick and not so flowy so I didnt get the cleanest lines. I love how my nails look after applying and it's so nice to wear my natural nails! And she capped the free edge too. I have been wanting to venture into the gel hybrids and I am such a fan of OPI but I love to read reviews before making a polish investment. What a trooper she is, right? makeupalley I think if you don't have the job I do, you can do your nails whenever you want, sleep, get up and do your thing and get a good 6 or 7 or 10 days of wear. There's really minor wear starting on my middle finger and there's a little chip on the edge of my ring finger that I didn't even notice before. To me, this is totally unacceptable. infinite shine 2 and it does not stay on..I thought is was a gel but it is not.i paid a lot for the product I do not think I will use it again. They have now cut that supply almost in half to accommodate this type of polish that all the brands are bringing out. Tomorrow she promises to send more pictures! Aww so cute.love them. That's FOUR days. Ugh. Both of these are gorgeous colors, though I dont think this is something Ill invest in. Not bad considering I slapped this stuff on at 3pm, rolled out to work at 4pm and then worked a few hours. I think, rather than invest in any of the special long-wear nail polish systems that set themselves apart from Regular Nail Polish, since I am a gel polish addict first, and a RNP buyer second, Ill continue to extend RNP wear, when I wear them alone, by intensive use of a good topcoat like Seche Vite or Orly Glosser, every other day, and remember to cap the tips.
These two nail colors are simply pretty. If I look at the almost total lack of wear on my left as compared to my right, it follows that if my right had more time to "cure" from all the artificial light sources around me, it would have made it through the four days in much better condition even though I used the crap outta that hand. Lotsa water, lotsa chemicals, losta use. Im always skeptical of gel hybrids and their claims!

I have been using the VINYLUX Top Coat over other polishes just because I like it. Its really rich and walks that fine line between vivid and moody. She used base, two colour coats, and top. You know I capped the free edges real good, right? I can get about 5-6 days wear from regular polish so Id like to see how I do with this. Wow, Anna, thats so interesting. I didnt begin to see any tip wear until Day 5 and chips didnt appear until a week after applying. My theory is that because this top coat "cures" (which really means hardens) best in full spectrum UV light (which only really comes from the sun and not from a UV lamp), that without sunlight, it takes a long time to set up hard enough so you experience zero tip wear at all. As I get older, I am constantly reminded of those mistakes when I look in the mirror. My only concern about this product, is wondering if it dries nails out. I know you're having trouble believing that but if you saw what regular-normal polish looked like after 8 hours, you'dbe stunned. I used Vinylux for a short while and then I noticed my clients nails were getting dried out and the colors did get gloppy quickly. Finally got it to where it was acceptable for me. It was only 3 days - booooo. Heres me with my initial application on my left hand. Glad to know the polishes are 5-Free. Left index wear again see? I know lots of you are getting tired of waiting patiently for reviews to roll out so what have I decided to do for you?

It has yellow undertones so it leans warm but not so much that cooler skin tones cant wear it. The Glossdries like other top coats in this category, in that it delivers high shine and continues to harden and cure with exposure to natural light. It's almost like I didn't use my hands at all last night but I did.
And a click-thru for our OPI Fifty Shades of Grey, and a click-thru for our OPI Hawaii Swatches too! You paint em all on like you do with any regular polish. Ive only tried the Sally Hansen ones so far, but it was a HUGE let down. Right now Amanda has the bottle of Withstands the Test of Thyme and shes just slapped it on and sent me a pic! She somehow managed to wear it longer than I did, and neither of us is a fan of chipped polish. I have some old favorite OPi colors (long time fan of OPI) that I am using with the gel printer and top coat. The other day, I went across town to my favorite nail supply store. OMG! They used to have tons and tons of regular polish. I dont know enough about nail and product chemistry to weigh in.
