There is a self guided tour which provides a second story overlook to watch the cheese packing process. There is something here for every age. It was a super busy Sunday and the line up for ice cream was way too long, so we just bought some cheese for a picnic and moved on*** Head on down the road to Debbie D's Jerky and sausage (with the red roof) for some more delicious samples- we bought some meat here to go with our cheese and it was SO good! I have heard criticism from other travelers that Tillamook Cheese Factory is no big deal, the tour is not worthwhile, the food is limited etc. We did the cheese tour.
