The black out curtains do not black out anything. The only drawback to the room was that the bedroom faced the amusement park and had no blackout curtains. And it was so clean, like spotlessly clean. Our resort is pet friendly, allowing one cat or dog under 60 lbs per room- restrictions apply. Everything was delicious and fueled us up for a fun night at the Family Kingdom amusement park, which we did a couple of hours later because food and spinning rides dont go together. My only disappointment was, they are a Time Share Hotel, if you did not buy into the time share you were not considered a VIP guest therefore you did not get the morning breakfast which only Time Share guests got. For reference, I was there with my two kids, ages 10 and 6. Checkin was fast and the room was clean, great ocean view. I was pretty happy since there were a lot of 80s and 90s hits thrown in! I felt safe at the resort too. All staff we ran into was smiling and genuinely happy to be there. For added security, the garage is gated and requires a resort keycard for entry.
