You will be refused entry if not dressed in smart casual attire. My colleagues asparagus risotto with poached duck egg was abysmal. Very nice place, clean restaurant, welcoming staff, very aesthetic overall building in great location. Service was great. This is the only place in Bournemouth thats is serving only fish. Overpriced, flavourless and tiny portions. This arrived dressed which isnt what we wanted. This is the best chip shop for miles around and I look forward to having more. set us back only 56. We dine here almost every week!!! Absolutely unreal food I now wouldnt go anywhere else! A fixed stop every time I am around Bournemouth. Can't wait to come back! Brilliant atmosphere and music was a great volume. Clearly a LOT of care has gone into making this venue perfect.

Honestly feels like home - or better! Really sweet to find out its run by a married couple :) every dish was on point, faultless night. Staff are very helpful and keen to please, especially with our Granddaughter of 15mths. Food beautifully prepared and presented. Finger licking curries . The delivery lady was so rude, no hello, she knocked on the door had her back to me after I answered and said hello twice, she turned and almost shoved my takeaway at me and walked away, no goodbye! It was delicious and big portion, Best fish and chips in Bournemouth. Recommend the moules. The food was ok, but they've stopped doing coffee & only have revolting tea, a peculiar yogurt drink & bottled water or fizzy drinks, which kind of spoiled the whole thing. In the end we just cancelled the appetiser. Not the largest portion of chips Ive ever had, but still more than enough for one person (I do worry about the sheer volume of chips given as a single portion in some places). The reason why I said I would not return to this restaurant it's because I can't see how the next time it could be any better. The restaurant felt empty and cold, we weren't told on arrival that there was no veal, hot food was served on cold plates, and when other customers sent theirs back, their food, including the salad, was microwaved. The duck egg was undercooked with some of the egg white still raw and the asparagus was bitter. Mussels in cream and garlic- plump and fresh, my husband said the asparagus was as good as he had tasted - presentation excellent. The pianist really enhanced the evening. Local and British produce is given imaginative and changing treatments at this casual fine diner. The risotto was bland and watery.
