It is recommended to book your desert camp experience in advance, especially if you are taking a tour. Youssef was very accommodating when I had to change my arrival time, the Everyone was very friendly and the welcoming was very nice (we loved the cookies). . Throughout our four-day Sahara Desert adventure, we hiked dunes to watch the sunrise, rode camels, and sand-boarded. We stopped around 1 pm, to stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat. It is a large, in-ground, spa-like pool completely enclosed by a tent to protect from sand, sun, and other elements of the desert. Instead of heading back to Marrakech, we drove towards the Skoura Oasis. 
Evening at the camp was memorablelive Berber music, a great dinner spread, and the most stars Ive ever seen! We had the best 2 days stay in this camp with ismail and all the staff. Our team was ultra friendly and helpful, which is key to having a good experience anywhere. Afterward, we made were dropped off at our hotel in the Skoura Oasis, filled with hundreds of palm trees.
